Over the last number of years we have all been made aware of the need for us to be more environmentally conscious and to find ways to protect or help the environment in our day to day life. There is no need to explain the benefits of this or the requirements for everyone to pitch in and help make the world a clean and better place.
So, where does one start? There are the obvious ones like recycling, reducing gas, oil and electricity consumption, however anything beyond this requires that people dedicate time and effort to finding ways to reduce, recycle, and reuse in their day to day lives. This requires a true commitment and dedication to not only find ways, but to experiment and implement into your day to day activities.
There is however a new solution. It is a website that is completely dedicated to helping you find and implement ways in order to easily build this into your daily activities. The site is hoping to be a one stop resource for anyone to find, investigate, and share creative ways in order to recycle and reuse items. No creative idea will be off-limits, and you can visit the site to find out how to build furniture from scrap or left over wood pieces all the way through to learning how to make homemade soap from some common household materials. Not only will you learn, you will also have the opportunity to contribute any creative ways that you have found in order to reduce, reuse, and recycle within your life. As a contributor driven site, it will rely upon its members to ensure that there is plenty of content, the content is fresh, and everyone is working together to help the common goal…a cleaner and better world to live in.
Type of Technology – Consumer Web
Features:
–> A database of creative, and unique ways that you can easily “be green” in the various day to day aspects of your life. The database is completely searchable based upon materials used, or the product that is created. For example if you wanted to make your own soap, you could search for the word Soap to get you the information, or use the word Wax which is a component of the recipe in order to get the instructions.
–> User contributed information. This means that you can also connect with the people who have provided the solution to ask questions and get reviews. Also, it allows users that may modify or improve upon the plans to post them so that other can benefit from the improvements as well.
–> A community with all of the same goals. You can connect with other environmentally conscious people from all over the world through this one central site.
–> Easy to use site, with a focus on helping people to find easy and effective ways to reduce, reuse and recycle. This reduces the time and effort required just to investigate how you may be able to make a difference today.
So, now it is your turn….is this Technology Hot…or Not?

It’s great to see people freely expressing their opinion. Thanks for your insights.
Great article, I was doing a little browsing and happened to stumble upon your site. I was wondering if you knew it is displaying strangely in Netscape. I can see most of it fine but a lot of the pictures are out of place. Overall, it’s not really a big deal as hardly anybody using Netscape anymore but I’ve been a reader for a while now and I figured I’d let you know.
Cheers
Hi. I’m doing some research on the topic and was directed to this page. This is just what I needed. Thanks!
